Dr. Bergum and his support staff exceeded my expectations. I was anxious to say the least. They provided calm and supportive reassurance along the way. I am currently 6 weeks out. I am living pain free for the first time in a long time. I was coached how to get the best results and it has been great thus far. I can only hope it continues to amaze me. I would recommend the knee bone marrow and stem cell treatment. I have had a total knee replacement on the other knee, and this has been a much less invasive treatment with great results.

The doctor was very thorough explaining what was needed, explained what he saw on the x-ray as well as the ultrasound. Everyone was kind and made sure that I understood the entire procedure from prep to aftercare, what meds I would be given. They made sure that I was aware that I would need someone else to drive. Dr. Bergum is amazing. He is very patient and thorough and explains things very well. My evaluation took about an hour and he took the time to explain what he was seeing on my ultra sound and X-rays. He did the ultrasound himself so he knew exactly what he was looking at for my upcoming procedures. I am a return patient, so I know these injections help. Please read! I had tendinitis in both elbows. Couldn’t even work out with 3lb weights. Elbows ached at night while trying to sleep. My right shoulder had a partial tear. I had to keep a pillow wedged underneath so I could lie flat on my back. All three areas were injected at the same time. The first couple of days were rough…. Dr. Urbanek told me it would take 6-8 months to really feel the difference. It’s been over a year now. I can workout with regular weights, nothing aches at night, and I don’t need a pillow wedged under my shoulder anymore. I would do it again for sure. Update….. it’s been 18 months and I still don’t have any discomfort in my elbows or my shoulder. It’s pretty amazing!

My husband received platelet injections last October. He could not even stand for more than a few minutes and could not walk very far. He was like this for several years. My daughter had a platelet procedure for a torn hip labrum and she was extremely anxious. Doctor Urbanek made her feel very much at ease and called to check on her later that evening.
